I am so sorry I am it posting as good posts recently, and I don’t know if I can post every day. It’s just I am feeling really down and anxious at the moment. I can’t get the motivation to do anything but I promise I will try and still post as often and as well as I can. Love you all❤️

Skin care

In this post, instead of me telling you the best things I was wondering if you guys could help me out? I want a good face mask or cleanser, basically just something to help my spots as I have been getting a few lately. I use simple products and I find they work really well. I have:

  • the simple kind to skin hydrating moisturiser 
  • The kind to skin purifying cleansing lotion
  • Clearasil Ultra Rapid Action Pads

I find that all these products work amazingly and do exactly what they say but I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for good face masks?

Fun ways to exercise without realising you are!

So I want to get fit, but sometimes I am not in the mood for exercise so these are some ways that you can get fit without realising you are!

1. Take the stairs. Ok, this one might now be fun but it’s easy. I never take a lift now, and I just forget they are there to be honest! It doesn’t do much but it does help.

2. Dancing. Go to a club or a disco, or just have a party in your room on your own! It burns loads of calories and it’s loads of fun! Lock your bedroom door turn up the music and just dance because no one is watching!

3. Watch a horror movie! This one sounds stupid but it has been proven that watching a 90 minute horror movie can burn as much as a half an hour walk! I know which one I would prefer to do!

4. Hike with your friends and have a photo shoot. Grab a few friends, get a camera and find a nice place to go hiking! It’s a great opportunity to get fit and to get some great photos for your instagram!

5.  Video games that make you active. Play a video game such as wiifit or just dance. These are fun and active at the same time!

So if you are looking to get fit without actually having to go for a run or something then these are a few ideas!

Travelling America 

When I was around 5-6 i got to go to New York because my parents got married there. I instantly fell in love with it! I live in Scotland right now so it was a dream to get to go to New York. None of my friends have been to America so I was so lucky to get to go.

When I graduate from college before I start working I want to take a war off and travel round every state in America. This has been a dream of mine ever since I first went to New York. I wouldn’t get much time in each state I know but it’s just an amazing thing that I want to do. Although I do need to start saving now! 

Do any of you have any plans to travel in the future and if so where? Comment and tell me I would love to know!!

How to get to sleep at night and have a better nights sleep!

I find it hard to go through a night without waking up at least once. I also find it really hard to get to sleep at night. So these are a few of the things that I have found help me to get to sleep. They might not work for you but they do for me so give them a try! 

1. Lavender. Lavender is great for helping you sleep. Somethinf about the smell makes you sleepy. I have a lavender scented candle that I light every night about half an hour before I go to sleep. Or if you take a bath before bed you can put lavender scented bath salts in it. Any way to make your room smell of lavender works!!

2. Fresh sheets. Fresh sheets really help when your trying to get to sleep. I’m not saying change them every day but every week or so. I mean who wants to be sleeping in dirty sheets? 

3. Low lighting. Whatever you are doing before you are going to sleep, having low lighting helps. When I am in bed reading or doing whatever I have my lamp on instead of my big light. This helps you not feel so awake.

4. Turn off your phone! I know this is a hard one but not going on your phone for about half an hour- an hour before you go to sleep really helps. I’m not sure why but it has been proven so i try and stay off it!

5. Doing something. If you have woken up in the middle of the night and you can’t get back to sleep, instead of lying there not doing anything you should read or go get a drink or just get up and do something.

So these are just a few things that help me when I can’t sleep. If you have any other tips to help you sleep comment them!

Girl online going solo book review

Today I am going to do something a bit different. I am going to review the book girl online going solo by Zoe Sugg (Zoella). So I got this book for Christmas and I finished on Boxing Day that’s how much I loved it😂.  I do find the girl online books quite an easy read but that is one thing that makes them good!

As Penny starts the school year she’s ready to face the world – alone. Noah has gone off the radar after ending his world tour early and no one, including Penny, knows where he is. So when she accepts Megan’s invitation to visit her performing arts school it seems like an opportunity to make some new friends.

Helping everyone else seems to be the right remedy – Elliot needs her friendship more than ever, and she meets Posey, who she can really help with her stage fright. But is charming Scottish boy Callum the right kind of distraction? And can Penny truly move on when Noah’s shadow seems to haunt her round every corner?
I don’t want to give away any spoilers if you haven’t read it but that is what the book is about. 

Good things about it:

  • Easy to read
  • Fun and exciting 
  • I love the characters!!
  • I really enjoy reading about about anxiety and what it’s like to live with it, it really helps you understand what people are going through.

So if you want to read something easy but heartwarming then this is honestly perfect!!

New Years resolutions 

2016 is almost over guys! For me 2016 has been a bad year, my grandad died, I lost a lot of friends and I almost dropped out of school. But I want to make 2017 different, a good year! So these are my resolutions for 2017.

1. Go out more. When my friends ask me to go places, like go shopping if I I want to stay over at theirs most times I say no. I get worried about going and I think of all the things that could possibly go wrong so I say no. Because of this I have missed out on lots of things I wish I had done, like my friends invited me to a water park with them, and I didn’t go and I can’t count how many sleepovers I have said no to. So in 2017 I want to say yes to all of these things and just live life to its fullest. (Cheesy I know🙄)

2. Blogging. I just started this blog not even a week ago, but in 2017 I want to continue this blog and hopefully grow it. I will try and blog everyday if I can!

3. Work out. I know that this is the generic  New Years resolution but I really do want to get fitter. I’m not happy with the way I look so I want to start doing the occasional run and doing some crunches and stuff.

4. Get rid of all the toxic people. In my school there are a lot of snakes 🐍 and unfortunately I got into a lot of drama with them in 2016. One time it was so bad the police had to get involved! Maybe one time I can tell the story of it if anyone would like? But anyway in 2017 I want to just get rid of all these people that always seem to be in all of the arguments and drama. 

5. Keep a diary. I don’t mean a diary where at the end of every day I write what i did and stuff, I mean a diary where I organise my life. I wrote about this in a blog post before but I want to keep track of all my homework and where I’m going on what day.

Best buys of 2016

So in this post I am going to talk about all of my favourite things that I bought or got given in 2016!

1. Nike roshe trainers. I know a lot of people already have these trainers but I got given them by my gran at Christmas. I got them in black and they are so pretty! They are the most comfortable pair of shoes I own and they are so light and bouncy!

2. Faceless by Alyssa Sheinmel. If you are looking for a book to read then I seriously reccomend this! It’s about a girl who gets into a fire and her face gets partially destroyed. It’s quite a sad book but it’s heartwarming and it makes you think.

3. Hollister vista cove body mist. I’m not very good at describing smells but this is my favourite sent I have ever smelt. It’s light and just so beautiful. 

4.Hair turban. Ok this one is a bit weird but it’s a towel that you put in your hair after washing it. You know when you just can’t get your towel to stay in that turban positon? Well this has a clip so it stays there. I can’t explain it well but honesty this changed my life!

5. Adidas superstars. I know I have already put some trainers on here but these shoes are just too beautiful not to mention! I got the simple white with black stripe ones but I also want the light pink with white stripes because they are gorgeous!!

6. NYX contour and highlight pro pallet. This pallet is just so amazing I love the highlighters in it but the contours are also great! I don’t really know what to say apart from I love it!

Netflix

I thought I would dedicate this post to one of the best things I have. Netflix. It’s great! These are a few of my favourite shows to watch!

1. Gilmore girls. Gilmore girls is probably my favourite show to watch on Netflix. It’s just such a feel good funny show. I’m only on season 4 episode 14 so no spoilers! 😉

2. How I met your mother. I love this show so much! It’s just hillarious and I can just watch episodes over and over again!

3. Pretty little liars. If I am ever in the mood for something more confusing or dark I watch PLL. It’s great when I actually want to sit down and watch something properly.

4. Gavin and Stacey. I love gavin and Stacey because it’s just hillarious. It’s a bit like how I met your mother because I can just watch it over and over. 

So these are just a few of my favourite things to watch on Netflix. So if any of you are wanting to watch something new or you are just getting Netflix and you want something to watch then all these shows are great!! Does anyone have any suggestions for any new shows I could watch?

Guilty pleasures

Good morning!

Everyone has them little things that they love doing that not many people know about. Their little guilty pleasures. I thought today I would speak about a few of mine.

1. Sorting all my apps into folders. This one is a bit weird but I find it so satisfying to sort all of my messy apps into different folders. Sometimes I will colour co-ordinate then, and sometimes I will do it by what they are. But I love being able to open my phone and having nice organised apps.

2. Reading. Maybe this one isn’t such a guilty pleasure, but I love reading. I love to sit on a comfy chair with some coffee and just read. I could maybe do some book reviews one time so comment if you would want that.

3. Organising my life. Ok this one sounds odd but I like having a diary or a calendar and I will write down the different things for that day and I will highlight them all. For example I could have whenever I go out highlighted in pink, and homework highlighted in blue and so on. I just find this really helpful and satisfying.

4. Disney and children’s films. Who doesn’t love to curl up on the sofa and watch a Disney film? I really want to go and see the new one called Moana because I think that one looks really good!
